What is the Purpose of Poetry?
Poetry can have several different purposes depending on your point of view. Most people agree that poetry can be used for emotional expression, catharsis, and exploration. However it can also be utilized as a historical record and communicating political statements. Throughout this exploratory project, we will learn all about the various purposes of poetry!
